Editing
As an editor, my goal is to help you communicate your ideas in the best way possible. Whether it is an academic paper, a novel, an email, promotional material or any other writing, presentation is the key to good reception. Every project has unique needs and development timelines, but in general the steps of editing are defined by Editors.ca as:
- Structural editing: recommendations to improve content and structure;
- Stylistic editing: recommendations to clarify meaning, improve flow and optimize language;
- Copy editing: recommendations to ensure correctness, consistency, accuracy and completeness;
- Proofreading: an examination of the material after layout to correct errors in textual and visual elements.
My goal is to offer you the best stylistic editing, copy editing and proofreading that I can.
